Info for musicians:
Musicians booked for one hour - it’s suggested you prepare a 25 minute set and repeat that during the hour. Feel free to take a short break in the middle.
Please play “The Twelve Days of Christmas” once or twice during your performance time and other Christmas songs. (It’s fine to sprinkle other festive songs in-between)
There is no stage or power, unless you are playing at one of the bandstands.

A green room will be located at The Bridge, near Santa’s workshop
Artists (workshop)
Info for artists teaching workshops:
Workshops will be held in the main lounge area upstairs in the Ballarat Library and are around 1 hour long. The artist will deliver the same workshop twice on the same day (11am and 1:30pm, but time may vary)
Please arrive around1 hour before the 1st class to setup. A 30 minute lunch break is scheduled between the 2 workshops.
The workshops have a maximum of 20 children each and a guardian/parent must attend as well. Helpers from Parent Place may be assisting some workshops as well.
Artists will start the workshop with story-time, reading a Christmas book - we have 2 to choose from, or find one in the library.
Workshops are free, and attendees may be running late or not turn up, so flexibility can be given to allow for this.
